Transformation of the basement into a legal secondary suite
These young homeowners wanted a legal basement apartment that would also be modern and comfortable to bring in supplementary income.
Project Highlights:
- Legal basement apartment: the basement was designed with an evacuation window and fireproofing between floors to create a legal basement apartment.
- Comfortable apartment: a spacious kitchen and bathroom were created along with ensuite laundry to ensure the tenants are comfortable and have everything they need.
- Additional parking: worked closely with transportation services to add an additional parking space for the future tenants.
